As always, I'm a little late posting things on the blog. Not this past weekend but the weekend before Dane and I enjoyed a little trip to Galena, IL. I knew we were going on the trip, but Dane did all the planning. It was great to be pampered. We stayed at a B&B called The Felt Manor.
Highlights of the trip:
*Watching football
*Going on a horse-drawn carriage ride
*walks around the river with Dane
*tea in the morning
*being served BREAKFAST! I LOVE BREAKFAST!
*one eleven main--highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the area!
*Goobies--restaurant--also highly recommend this one.
*Great American Popcorn--for the popcorn and the ice cream
*The salsa shop where Dane tried the hottest salsa ever. Then begged for water. Good thing I was carrying some in my purse. :)
